Hello!
I'm Jemina. Aurelia's organizer, dancer, and life enthusiast.
I help women who dream of traveling find new friends and courage in their lives at this experience camp, so they can return home with a new travel buddy, memories, and increased self-confidence.

The birth of Aurelia
In my world, women are not afraid or shy about their own agency, but neither are they shy about their needs. The need for support, community, and encouragement is truly human, but they can often only be found through their own agency. If there is no agency, it is difficult to find community and like-minded people, but if there are not already those people who would provide that support and encouragement, agency is devastatingly difficult. This creates a circle that I wanted to break. There has to be some kind of experiential way that happens in real life that strongly supports the development of both elements. A kind of example of what can be.
In my world, women don't apologize for their own existence and desires. You can want and enjoy things. Well-being, art, luxury or new specialties. Whatever you come up with, you can want, you can enjoy. There is also a world beyond need.
I wanted to create an environment and a program where women can focus on receiving, being and connecting with like-minded women. A place where you don't have to "earn" anything, prove anything. Just let all the good things come. You can have nice things happen to you and you can make your life what you dream of without any reason. No justifications. The program has beautiful elements that you can enjoy, regardless of whether you feel you deserve it or not. There is luxury, there is well-being, there is the opportunity for new friends and a really good summer. Do you give them to yourself, or do you need permission? If you are at the point where you need it, then this could be it.
There is immense strength, softness, creativity, intuitive energy and personality in women and femininity. Let's let them shine <3
My most transformative journey
I have wanted to travel for as long as I can remember. The world and its people are so endlessly beautiful and interesting. As a child, I occasionally got to travel abroad, but as an adult it took several years before the opportunity arose. A few years ago, however, I realized that when the opportunity finally arose, I only had a couple of friends and their life circumstances did not allow me to go on a trip. Do I have to go alone here? I looked for people on social media that I could approach, I browsed Instagram and Facebook groups, until I came across a post where someone was also looking for travel buddies to Tenerife.
We called a group and although this particular trip didn't happen, I found two lovely guys among the few interested people, with whom I spent a couple of weeks in Spain. I had had difficulty showing my true self, but I promised myself before the departure day arrived that now I would give myself and others the opportunity to get to know my authentic self. Yes, those two weeks will last me. It was worth it, they lasted more than well and Veera has remained a good friend of mine.
In addition to a friend, that trip gave me a lot of direction and certainty about the direction I want to boldly start going. When you get distance and a new environment that supports change, it's easier to look at your own life. After the trip, things started to get hectic. I moved into a campervan, broke up with my then partner and changed cities. A brave break away in wonderful company and distance from everyday life can sometimes be more significant than you can even imagine. Since then, I've been encouraged to travel solo as well.
This trip was a turning point for me. Inspired by it , I wanted to create a concept where the threshold for going would be as low as possible and the probability of creating lasting friendships as high as possible. I remember how exciting it was to look for a travel companion online, let alone going myself. I wish others wouldn't have to get frustrated and search for a travel companion through the wonderful world of the internet, organize the whole thing alone, or think about safety at every turn. Aurelia is a camp where you can go alone, but you won't be alone, but you get to share the experience with other wonderful women.
